Alfreda Manuel

Alfreda "Bobby" Manuel was born on September 25, 1948, to the late Charles and Margaret Petilla in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She departed this life suddenly on June 9, 2024.

Alfreda was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School system. She entered into holy matrimony with Terry Manuel Sr., and to this union, two sons and one daughter were born.

Affectionately known as "Bobby", Alfreda was a hard worker and was employed at the Presbyterian Hospital for many years. She loved to entertain and she was the life of the party. Her vibrant smile was infectious, and she was respected by everyone who knew her.

She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and never told them no. Alfreda was a true friend and a beacon of light who touched the lives of everyone she encountered. She leaves behind a proud legacy and cherished bonds with her children.

Preceding Alfreda in death were her parents, Charles and Margaret Paitlla, and her brother William Patilla.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her daughter, Mia D. Goodwin (Warnie); her sons, Terry J. Manuel Jr. (Shoniece) and Demar W. Manuel; her grandchildren, Takeen, Teevou, Terry III, Malik, Marques, Curtis, Shaunay, Camerin and Aaliyah; her great-grandchildren, Tyree, Olivia, Teagan, Naomi, and Pharaoh Jr.; her brothers, Charles Patilla Jr. (Angie), Carl Patilla (Patricia), and Alfred Patilla, all of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; her significant other, Ivan Murry; her special friend, Juanita Talliferro; and a host of family and friends.
