Albert “Bunny” White Jr., age 78, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2025. Born on November 9, 1946, Bunny lived a life marked by service and dedication. A proud graduate of Westinghouse High School in 1964, Bunny went on to attend Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia. In November 1966, Bunny entered the U.S. Army, where he served honorably as a medical supply clerk in the 2nd Infantry Division’s Medical Battalion. He was first stationed at Ft Dix, New Jersey, before being deployed overseas to Korea in March 1967. He also served as a Dental Assistant while in Germany. Following his time in the Army, Bunny built a successful career as a salesman. With his natural charisma, warmth, and genuine nature, he left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Bunny is survived by his beloved daughter, Summer Grant, grandchildren, Summara, Summaia, and Suvannah. Children Kelly and Jordan, and their mother Christine. As well as his devoted niece, Michelle White-Barren, and nephew-in-law, Marcus Robbins. As well as a host of family and friends. All of whom brought great joy and love to his life. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert White Sr.; his mother, Eloise White; and his brothers, Richard “Ricky” White and Michael “Mike” White. He will be fondly remembered for his famous BBQ sauce, sweet potato pie, quiet strength, sense of humor, and sarcastic spirit that touched all who knew him. A funeral service in his honor will be held at the House of Law Funeral Home. Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance and celebration of a life lived with dignity, love, and humor
