Ada West Frazier transitioned to her eternal home on December 18, 2018 at Pennwood Village Care Center. Ada was born in Pittsburgh on July 2, 1940, and was the eighth of ten children born to the late Isaac West and Elanor Taliaferro West. Ada accepted Jesus into her heart at a young age at St. Mark AME Church and had an unwavering faith and close walk with the Lord. She was educated in the Wilkinsburg Public School District.
In 1982, Ada was united in marraige to the late John Frazier. Evangelist and Rev. Frazier traveled as a team and preached the Word of God. Her life's work was committed to ministry and spreading the Gospel. Ada was a blessing to her family and friends as she reflected the love of Christ through the kindness and compassion that that she extended to everyone.
Ada was the devoted mother of the late Lisa M. Moon, her daughter from a previous marriage to Dose Moon. Ada was also preceded in death by her brother: William, Gilbert, Stanley, Richard and Isaac West and sisters: Caroline Johnson and Emma Roebuck.
She leaves to celebrate her life and cherish many happy memories: brother James West(Marcel) and sister Marjorie Moon (Luther). Grandchildren: Tavon and Taijuana Moon, stepchildren: Katrina, Jamie and John Frazier, Jr.
Ada touched numerous lives and loved and will be greatly missed by all of her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
