William Thomas Kisner, age 77, affectionately known to his family and friends as Billy, departed this life on Saturday, January 5, 2019. He was the beloved son of the late Thelma C. Jackson and the late Robert Orval Kisner of Pittsburgh.
William graduated from Fifth Ave High School, and he retired from the Pitt University ground crew after more than 35 years of service. William was a huge sports fan, and he was always excited about rooting for his favorite team the Pittsburgh Steelers. He also enjoyed watching his grandson, Billy Kisner, play quarterback for Penn Hills High School. Those that knew William best will tell you that he was no stranger to hard work. That he was a loving father, uncle and brother and that he was devoted to his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, William was also preceded in death by two nephews, Tony and Todd Kisner and his brothers James, Andrew, Delbert, Eddie and Dr. Robert Kisner of Pittsburgh.
He leaves to morn sister Thelma Denise Parker (Arthur), children William David (Anna), William Ivan (Jamie), Julian, Candis, Karen, Denise (Anthony) and Priscilla. He also leaves behind a multitude of nephews and nieces and many other family members and friends.
