Shermaine Patterson

Shermaine Patterson was born December 19, 1945 in Hopwood, Pennsylvania, to the late Charles and Stella Patterson.

She departed this life on October 27, 2017 at her home.

She attended the Snowden Township School District and worked as a housekeeper for thirty - years.

Shermaine loved her sports and also watching her Western Cowboy movies.

She was baptized at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Library, Pennsylvania under the late Reverend C.H. Byars. Shermaine enjoyed playing gospel music especially when she was in the kitchen cooking a big meal for the family.

Shermaine was preceded in death by her mother, Stella Patterson; father, Charles Patterson Sr.; brother, Thomas Patterson and Charles Patterson Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory son, Kevin Patterson of McKeesport, Pennsylvania; daughters, Shirley Renee Patterson (Nay -Nay) of South Park, Pennsylvania, Wendy Patterson of McKeesport, Pennsylvania; sister, Shirley Detwiler (Charles) of South Park, Pennsylvania; brother, Johnny Patterson (Beverly) of Raleigh, North Carolina; 6 grandchildren; 6 great -grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She will also be remember by her special friend. Marshall Freeman. She will be sadly missed.
