Retha Page Obituary

Obituary

Early sunrise for Retha Mae Page began on May 29, 1951 at Braddock General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. Retha is preceded in death by father Esau Page, mother Virginia Page, sisters Lou Pearl Harris, Whilemenia Page Durant Grifith, Mary Page, brother Conrad Page and fiance Vincent Jones.

Retha Mae is survived by her, sisters Clarita Moore, Phyllis Brown, Deborah Baines, Lisa Patterson, and Rosalind Rosemond; brothers Lee’Von Page, Curtis Page, and Darryl Page; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.

A woman of compassion and devotion to any and everyone she knew, Retha Mae Page departed into Heaven on May 29, 1951 at West Penn Hospital in Bloomfield, Pa. Retha loved serving and caring for others. As a nurse at Montifore Hospital she dedicated her self to treating her patients with passion, comfort, and love. In her latter years, Retha began treating elderly patients as a home health aid, caring for people of all walks of life throughout the Greater Pittsburgh area. Retha was a great family member, that always took time to visit, call, and lend a helping hand whenever she could. Retha loved politics, shopping, and going out to eat. She really enjoyed spending time with others and spreading joy where ever she went. Though she will be sorely missed, Retha's impact on her family, friends, and community will forever be remembered. Now that her time has come, Retha may rest in eternal peace with the Lord.
