Polly Hairston

Born May 7, 1933 in Wagram, North Carolina, to Leroy and Evelena Lloyd.  Moving from Wagram to Southern Pines, North Carolina at the early age of 12 she moved to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to live for 72 years. 

Married to the late James W. Hairston for 55 years.  Polly was a member of Greater Works Church of Monroeville, PA.  

Working as a housekeeper to the likes of Willie Stargell and may others throughout Pittsburgh area.

Operating a pray Ministry via telephone for almost 40 years speaking into the various people lives daily.  Polly was known throughout the community as "The Greens" cooker.

On May 6, 2018 Polly received her wings and went on to be with the Lord.
