Obituary
Norman James Farrish, Sr was born on September 17, 1927, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to William and Elizabeth Farrish.
During his marriage to Jean Farrish, the union had a son, Norman James Farrish, Jr. To Norman Sr. this was one of the happiest days of his life; he had a son.
Norman attended Westinghouse High School in Homewood where he was a member of the swim team.
For a period of over 40 years he traveled Europe and the United States as a designer and salesman of specialized truck equipment and cranes. Specifically, he specialized in writing specifications of trucks and equipment for municipalities and water and utility companies. He also developed a camera system for bridge inspection.
After retiring from that position, he began working for Amore Property Management. He worked every day until his death.
Norman was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth, his brother, Eddward, and sister, Jean. He leaves behind his son, Norman, Jr (Katherine); grandchildren Cary Braxton and Jamie Braxton-Brandt (Peter); great granddaughter, Natalie; a host of nephews and nieces, cousins and friends.
