Obituary
Jamayah L. Sharif was born on October 1, 1990 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Jeanine Bowser and Hassan Sharif. She graduated from Penn Hills High School and then went on to pursue art education at the university level.
Jamayah was beautiful, free spirited, strong, and empathetic. Her creativity was exceptional. She was skilled in almost every artistic media. She was an adventurer and a candy enthusiast. She had an infectious personality and she was everything but boring. She believed in magic and she MOST definitely had superpowers. She felt she was beyond this world and because so she lived her life as such.
Jamayah loved to create and perform. As a teacher, she was extremely passionate about giving her students the freedom to express themselves. Jamayah saw every Disney movie and knew all things "Disney" so when she got a job as a "Disney Princess" it was a perfect match.
Jamayah leaves to cherish loving memories her mother, Jeanine (Doran) Bowser, her father, Hassan (Tamika) Sharif. Her siblings, Dante Jones, Kayla Bowser, Mikayala Sharif, and Kaleah Sharif. Her grandparents Jeannette Hanner and Regis Sharif. Her uncles Arnold (Cynthia) Rose, Andre Yates, Matthew Yates,, Oronde (Tonya) Sharif, Ricky Johnson, Chris (Crissy) Bowser, and Eugene Hanner Jr. A host of other uncles, aunts, cousins, and close friends.
Jamayah was preceded in death by grandmother Shona Sharif, her grandfather Allen Wright and her aunt Tonya Wright.
