Obituary
Erlene McGuire went home to be with the Lord on October 27, 2018. Erlene was the 3rd oldest child of Allen and Wilma Tyus, born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 24, 1950. she was baptized and accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior at an early age.
Erlene was educated at Westinghouse High School. Shew was employed at Sears & Roebuck, but by her admission her most enjoyable job was being a dedicated housewife and stay at home mother. Erlene leaves to mourn a devoted husband of 44 years and 11 months, Nicholas McGuire Jr.; two daughters, Nichol (Ferman) Lewis and Melissa (Brian) Tarrant; six grandchildren, Domonic Kemp,Victor Kemp, Mikall Tarrant, Royce Lewis, Brian "Prince" Tarrant Jr. and Weston Lewis. She is also survived by three brothers, James, Danny, anthony (Michelle) Tyus and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Erlene was pre-decased by her parents and brothers, Allen Jr. and Emmanue Tyus.
Erlene followed in her mothers foot-steps with the love and passion for cooking. She was always cooking for relatives, neighbors, friends and strangers. Her large holiday spreads were amazing! Erlene loved to shop for everything from food to clothes, shoes to gadgets. She looked forward to spring and summer so she could admire her husband great work after many long days of toiling the yard. Erlene was a social butterfly who could strike up a conversation with anyone. she had a smile that would light up a room. Erlene loved to attend her children and grandchildren's sport events. You could hear her cheers miles away! She will be dearly missed by many.
