Dolores Stubblefield

Our  beloved Dolores J. Watkins was born July 28, 1931, to the late Eugene and Adventer Sheppard Watkins.  She was the oldest of four siblings and was preceded in death by her sister Gloria Watkins Lee and grandson Justin Stubblefield.

Dolores was a proud graduate of the Pittsburgh Public Schools; Schenley High School.  For countless years until retirement, Dolores was employed by the Pittsburgh Public School System.

Dolores fell in love and married Barnett Stubblefield (late) and to this union they were blessed with 2 children; Elaine and Randall.

Dolores was an active member of Covenant Church of Pittsburgh, serving in several Auxiliaries.  She had a great love for children and the community and was a devoted volunteer serving and aiding Senior Citizens throughout the city.  Dolores loved to travel and was fondly known as "Aunt Watt" to friends and family.

Dolores departed this life on Friday, December 1, 2017.  Dolores leaves to cherish her memory two loving children; Elaine and Randall Stubblefield; stepson Daryl Grimmet; siblings; Patricia Garnett and Ellis Watson; 5 grandchildren; Rashi, Lateef, Tanay, Nehlah and Shehan Stubblefield; 14 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and good friends.
