Dean N. Tyler Sr.

What rejoicing there must have been in Heaven when, on Tuesday night, October 29, 2019, Dean Nevilon Tyler made his safe flight from earth to dwell eternally with his Heavenly Father up above.

Dean was born September 17, 1970, in Brooklyn, New York to the late Marion Dannie Tyler and Mattie Bell Parrish Tyler Buchner.

He was baptized April 14, 2000 at the Brownsville Community Baptist Church in Brooklyn New York, by the late Reverend Harold Burton Sr.

Dean attended and graduated from NYC Public School System. He received his Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from Brooklyn College where he also played on their basketball team. He was 6 credits shy of completing his Master's Degree.

He attended and received his diploma and certification to be a Funeral Director from the American Academy, McAllister Institute of Funeral Service, Inc. in August 1996. Dean was licensed in the states of New York and Pennsylvania as a Funeral Director.

Dean loved what he did. He was a pleasant and compassionate person whom God endowed with understanding and love for his fellow man. He was always willing to give freely of his time, wisdom, and knowledge. Whether it was soothing words of comfort or an ear to listen, he would provide it to you. His humor about life and living although sometimes far fetched would definitely make you laugh. That's what made him unique. Because of this, he was loved, admired, and respected by those who knew him.

Dean leaves to cherish his 2 beloved sons, Dean C.J. Tyler and Adrian Tyler of Pittsburgh. These two were proudly his pride and joy. He also leaves to cherish his Step-father Newton Buchner Sr., His siblings.. (5 brothers): Harold Parrish of Shelby, NC; Mark A. Tyler (Roslyn) of Brooklyn, NY; Allan Tyler of Coral Springs, Fl; Newton Buchner, Jr. (Lorna) of Riverside, CA; Brian A. Tyler (Katesha) of Roanoke, VA; (5 sisters) Denise Tyler of Pittsburgh, PA; Renee Tyler (Carl) of East Stroudsburg, PA; Christina Buchner of the U.S. Army, Germany; Adele Tyler of Coconut Creek, Fl and Patricia Howell of Seattle, WA. His aunts Lois Coleman Guice (Robert) of Houston, TX; Sarah Moore of Hyattsville, MD; and Jessie Parrish (Robert) of Shelby, NC. His uncles Elbert Parish of Shelby, NC and Tommy Parrish (Dely) of Lake Norman, NC; Nephews Hassan Parrish, Anwar Parrish (Shanna), Mark Tyler II (Tinesha), Daniel Tyler, Kellen Buchner, and Kevin Edwards. Nieces Brittany Tyler, Sabria Minott, Shaneka and Cherish Tyler, and close friend Charmaine Sample of Pittsburgh, PA. He also leaves a host of cousins and numerous dear friends. We thank God for Love; we thank Him for Family; we especially thank Him for allowing Dean to be a part of us. We will see you again Baby Brother.

Dean was a key person with the House Of Law. No one committed to care for "loved ones" like he did.

The meticulous care he showed in preparation and attention to detail will not be duplicated. He will greatly be missed.

We will continue to laugh out loud for years to come remembering his corny jokes.

We will remember the humility he expressed as he blushed when complimented on his extraordinary work.

Dean would say , "It starts as a temporary relationship with families. Let's make them lasting ones”
