Dana Anthony Brandon age 49, was granted angel wings at home, on the early hours of Saturday June 22, 2019 as a result of heart failure, he transcended peacefully in his sleep.
He was born April 7, 1970 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He was the first of 7 children. He was educated in Pittsburgh Public school systems. Dana had various jobs throughout his life, he enjoyed his position as an Security Guard at the YMCA in Hill District neighborhood until he sustained nearly fatal injuries due to being shot 8 times in a drive-by shooting that left him with 6 bullets still remaining in his body, causing permanent disabilities.
"the King of Family"; Dana was a protector who was passionate about his loved ones; he was close and loyal to his family and friends. Dana's upbeat personality made him the life of the any party and children instantly gravitated to his welcoming playful nature. A gentle giant, he loved spending time with his close family and friends. Dana enjoyed various genres of music and played his selections from jazz to rap daily.
Dana also enjoyed sports, a fan of the home team The Pittsburgh Steelers. He leaves to mourn his Wife Terry Rey Webb-Brandon, Stepson, Delton (Mickey) F. Dixion, Step-granddaughter Gina Rose Dixion, Mother Nancy Brandon Yates, Father Robert E.Yates Sr. Siblings; Khalilah R. Brandon, Robert E. (Antionette) Yates, Keena L. Yates (Torrie) Butler, and Khaleena R. Yates; Daryl Brandon Yates, and Soloman (Jarrel) D. Bey. Mother In-Law Dorothea R. Webb, Brother In-Law Christopher (Althea) Phillips, Sister In-Law Shauna Berry, and a host of Aunts and Uncles, nieces and Nephews.
