Charlene Almeda Prunty

Charlene Almeda Prunty, 57 of Pittsburgh, PA, departed this life Tuesday, June 4th, 2019, in UPMC East Medical Hospital, Monroeville, PA.  Charlene was born May 1st, 1962 in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of Larry W. Prunty, Sr. and Charlotte Dabney.  She was preceded in death by her father Larry W. Prunty, Sr. and her fiance' Arthur Reynolds.  Charlene attended Penn Hills Sr. High School in Penn Hills, PA where she received her diploma in 1980.  Charlene was a dedicated loyal mother and grandmother.  Charlene loved children so much that she dedicated her life to her own childcare business.  Left to mourn in her memory, her mother, Charlotte Dabney; two daughters, Chakeda (Tyrell0 and Yana; one son, John; one brother, Larry (Laurie); one sister, Dawn (Neal); 8 grandchildren, Jeremy, Robert, Brandon, Amira, Amaree, Isiah, Tre'mar, Tahira, a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
