Betrice Amerillus Cummings of Monaca, PA went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 9, 2017, in the comfort of her sleep.

Beatrice was born August 6, 1929, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl. Daughter of the late Landrum Marshall and Nellie Mae Marshall.  Beatrice received both her Bachelor's and Master's  Degree from the University of Pittsburgh's School of Social Work.  Having enjoyed  a rewarding career in social work reform, Beatrice retired as the Director of C.I.T.E. of Beaver County, an educational and training program.  Throughout her life she was active in her church and her local community.  Known for her generous and loving spirit, Mother Bea enjoyed being on the Mother's board at the church in the Round and served as the Educational Scholarship Coordinator in the Church for years.    along with her minister and friend Bishop Melvin E. Clark Sr., Beatrice started the Bethesda Home for Boys of Aliquippa, which provided a second chance at life for troubled young men.  Beatrice's passion and commitment to helping others has left a lasting legacy on countless lives.

Preceding Beatrice in death, in addition to her parents, was her husband, Lamar Cummings, sister Lydia  Burke, Mary Moore, Gwendolyn Knight, Marlene Marshall, brothers Kermit Owens Marshall, and daughter in law, Drena Williams.

Surviving are Beatrice's children, Harriet and (John) McClary, Jacquelynne and (John) Trent, Ben Williams Jr., and Noble Dixon.  Her siblings, Landrum Jr., Donald, Floyd, Sharlene, Denise, and Elsetta.  Additionally, her grandchildren, Tekiesha Penaloza Daniel, Ben Williams, Nova McClary, Stephanie Craft, Joshua Trent, Mikah Trent, Bethany Trent, Amera Dixon, Tyana Dixon and Noble Dixon, along with a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
