Audrey Joan Dixon-Lilly

Audrey Dixon Lilly was born on March 16, 1937.  God blessed Thelma and William Winston with their daughter Audrey Joan.

Audrey grew up in Pittsburgh, PA.  She attended McKelvy Grade School, Herron Hill  Jr. School, Schenley High School and the University of Pittsburgh.

She accepted God as her personal Savior at an early age at Wesley Center AME Church before joining Homewood AME Zion Church under Rev. George Fitch, Pastor.

Audrey worked at Children's Hospital as a Dental Technician for forty-four years and  was well respected for her kindness and service - also discovering a procedure for children's gums which is in the American Journal of Dentistry.  She was also active in the order of the Eastern Star Matron and Past Matron in Bright Horizon #123, Past Grand Officier of Omega Grand Chapter order of the Eastern Star, Past Vice Matron Carrie L. Lewis Court Heroines of Jericho and American Legion Auxiliary.  She was also active in bowling, dancing and sign language in San Diego, CA.

She married Ellis F. Lilly (Blue) in 2002 at Homewood AME Zion Church under Rev. Stanley Dennison.

Audrey went to labor in God's heavenly kingdom preparing a place for those she loved; a loving husband, Ellis F. Lilly (Blue); sister,, Carole Smith (Lawrence); nieces, Nicole, Rhonda and Kariss Smith; nephew, Nikai Smith and many other relatives and friends who she loved dearly.
