Ann Taylor Obituary

Ann Maude Taylor was born on May 17, 1922 to the late George and Carrie Carter. Peacefully, on Sunday, August 25, 2019 she left this earthly home for her eternal home.

Ann was a lovely, caring, loving, and praying mother who was a joy to all that knew her. She was a devoted Steelers fan and her favorite show was Wheel of Fortune.

In addition to her parents George Carter and Carrie Carter, she was preceded in death by loving husband, Leroy R. Taylor, Sr.; brothers, Jessie Carter and George; and sister, Thelma Wright. She is survived by her sisters, Audrey Sloan and Harriett Merritt; loving sons, Leroy (Roxanne), Jerome, Mark and Anthony Taylor; and devoted daughters, Ardelia Merriweather, Jeanette Walker, Stephanie Thurston, Benita Sloan, Sharon (Marvin) Lawson; 18 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
