Ada Thompkins

Obituary

Ada Angeline Thompkins was born on March 6, 1936, in Lawrenceville, PA to the late Harrison and Mary Lambert. She grew up in a loving family of seven children, four bous and three girls.  She was the youngest.

She attended Westinghouse High School and graduated Valedictorian of her class.  She also had the gift of playing the piano and tap dancing.

God blessed her with five children, four of which are living.  She loved the Lord and through Him everything was possible.  She was a kind and loving woman with a generaous spirit.  She was full of wisdom and great advice, always quick to lend an ear and a helping hand for those in need.

After many years of dedicated service Ada, retired as a state employee.

On July 31, 2018 Ada departed this life for life eternal.

She leaves to cherish her fondest memories, children, Lorraine, Kent, and Michael; sister-n-law, Charmaine Jefferson, of Indianapolis, Indiana; friend and caregiver, Ms. Arnetta; mother-in-law to Josette, Pam; grandchildren Courtney, Josha; great-grandchildren, Quinisha, Lil Clarence, Tosha, Lexus, Savonce; great-great grandchildren, Javaeh, Khalya, Cameron, Skylar; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
