Deja Logan Obituary

De’ja Moena Logan was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, November 3, 2004. She was the daughter of Tameaka Finley (mother) and Lance Logan (father). De’ja graduated from Westinghouse High School in the Class of 2023. She was accepted to Seton Hill University, however, she decided to further her education elsewhere. De’ja enjoyed helping other children and tutored at Westinghouse High School. She also played the guitar for the children. De’ja was very intelligent and sometimes when she would have a conversation with her mom using extravagant words – Her mom would ask… “What Does That Mean” (smile). De’ja was always thankful and grateful for any and everything. She was very polite and her beautiful smile would light up a room. Her warm hugs and beautiful caring heart will be missed. Her hobbies she enjoyed were Black Poetry, caring for her cat, “Vincetta”, creative drawing, singing, listening to music, writing and most importantly her guitar. She was talented, gifted and even taught herself how to play the guitar. She was called home to Heaven on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. She was preceded in death by her brother, Khalil Logan. Deja is survived by her mother, Tameka Finley; father, Lance Logan; oldest sister, Desyree Brown ( her son, Noah Brown); brothers, David Brooks, Malik and Caron Logan; great-grandfather, Luther Logan; grandmother, Janet Logan; step-father, Gilbert Gray; aunts, Letitia Finley, Latasha Finley, and Tra-Linn Scott-Tyler (Jamelle, husband and children, Ellis Tyler and Emerson Tyler); uncles, Sean Scott, (his children, Sean Scott Jr., Chase Scott); aunt, Shona Jiggetts (her children, Audrey Smith and Nataley Smith, father, Thomas Smith); aunts, Sarani Jiggetts, (child, Shaniah Mickens); Leah Jefferson (husband, Robert and children Robert Jr. and Rayona Jefferson); Lance Logan’s granddaughter, Nova Rae Logan; God-mom, Linda Banks and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends. Seeing so many people here to say goodbye to Deja today shows just how loved she was. As God welcomes Deja home with open arms she surely will be missed by all who loved and knew
