Tasha R. Jackson

Tasha Jackson, the only child born to the late Elise L. Jackson and the late Kenneth W. Hamilton, was born on January 15, 1977 i Pittsburgh, PA.  Tasha departed this life after a short illness on April 20, 2016.

Tasha was educated in the Pittsburgh Public Schools; a graduate of Brashear High School in 1944.  She attended Edinboro University where she became an Alpha Angel.   She continued her education at Duff's Business where she earned her Associates Degree in Specialized Business in Business Adminstration and graduated in 1997.  She then attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where she earned a graduate degree in Web Design in December 2009.  Tasha used her web designing skills to create the front page (picture) of the 100th Anniversary Celebration at Bidwell Church.

Tasha and her daughter Arissa both accepted Christ in their lives and got baptized the same day at Bidwell Church in December 2009.

Tasha was employed by Lamar Advertising for over 16 years, where she was a Project Coordinator.

Tasha leaves to cherish her loving memory; her one and only child Arissa E. Jackson, her Sister Richelle Goshay, Three Aunts, Two Uncles and her Boyfriend Derrick Brown.

Tasha was preceded in death by her Mother Elise L. Jackson, her Father Kenneth W. Hamilton, her Brother Anthony Jackson, her Grandmother Ruth Crockett-Moir, her Grandfather Charles Moir, and her Step Mother Pearlene Hamilton.  Tasha will also be cherished and missed by a host of cousins and many loving friends.

John 14:1-4 "Let not your hearts be troubled.  Believe in God; believe also in me.  In my Father's house are many rooms.  If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also.  And you know the way to where I am going."
