Sheila Terry

Sheila AnnTerry was born to Johnnie and Lois Terry May 26, 1958 in Pittsburgh PA. She departed from this life December 25, 2017 at the age of 59.

After graduating from Taylor Allderdice High School in 1976, she attended the University of Pittsburgh where she majored in English and minored in Psychology.

After giving birth to her daughter Brittany Lynn Terry August 16, 1994 she went to the Community College of Allegheny County to get her associates degree in the medical coding field.She joined her mother in running the Terry Nursing Home. She also worked at Highmark as well as Mellon Bank.

Sheila was a fun and loving person, and a passionate Steelers fan. She loved sharing funny stories from her past. She loved to read, play cards, cook her famous fried chicken, potato salad and sweet potato pies. Sheila will be remembered by family and friends as someone that was trustworthy, but most of all courageous and a person of strength. Sheila was also a Breast Cancer survivor and she fought until the end.

She leaves behind her daughter, Brittany Terry; sister, Cynthia (William) Madison of Maryland; niece, Kirsten Madison of Maryland and a host of family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Johnnie and Lois Terry and a brother in-law William Madison.
