Obituary

Rose Thelma Moore born to the late James A. Weaver and LaVerne Weaver on January 6, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA.  Rose departed this life peacefully on July 18, 2016.

Rose was the eldest daughter of 12 children.  She was a graduate of Peabody High School. She earned a medical certification and went to work as a unit clerk at Presbyterian University Hospital.  She worked various jobs in the healthcare profession before settling in at PPG for 20 years where she worked as a glass inspector for all types of motor vehicles.  She retired from PPG in March 2016.

Rose was a God fearing woman.  She was saved at a young age but rededicated her life back to Christ in 1994 when she moved to Altoona, PA.  She was a faithful servant of the Lord for 22 years.  Under the stewardship of Bishop Bass where she began her coursework in ministry.  Later she became a member of Mount Moriah Church in Altoona, PA under the leadership of Pastor Robin Ross and diligently served in various roles in the church.  She was committed to her faith and the biblical principals of tithing and service.  She was a hard worker;  some might even say, all she did was work and she loved the Lord, God and work became her life.  She was proud to be a child of the Most High God and wouldn't change that for anything.

Rose enjoyed life  by traveling, shopping, and spending time with her daughter and family members.  Throughout her life there  was never a task to hard or a hill to tall for her to climb, she was very kind  hearted person with a zest for life and forever giving herself to others.

She leaves to mourn her two children Michael Germany Jr., Rashea D. Germany and Donita Germany, her siblings; Albert C. Weaver, Gerald R. Weaver (Janet), Sonja L. McNeal (Michael), Lynn D. Riley, Tina D. Weaver-Morphis, Charlene Holder (Hosea), Wayne K. Weaver (Rosemary), Gary L. Weaver (Joy), Maureen Thomas, James A. Weaver, (LaTonya) and George D. Weaver.  Her grandchildren; Tyrica McCullan, Tyrek Germany, Myesha McGullan, India Germany, Paris Minard, Michael Germany III; her great-grand children: Loryn Germany,  Arionna Rhoades, Tyrek Germany, Camden Dowdell, Layla Germany, Delaunte Minard and Levi Almon along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
