He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, in the Garfield neighborhood April 11th, 1979. He was born to Corrie Mae Street (deceased) and Eugene Long, Jr.
He was a student in the Pittsburgh Public Schools, graduating form Peabody High School 1997, where he played football.
After graduation, Nadir went into the field of culinary arts. He was a chef at the Pleasure Bar in Bloomfield for many years. His last place of employment was Little Ceasars on Centre. Ave.
Nadir, better known as Coach Dough, was part of Garfield Youth Sports for 8 years. He was an inspiration on many young men, coaching football and teaching life lessons. Coach Doug was a part of the famous Garfield Termites, aka the Goon Squad coaching staff.
Nadir is survived by his dad, Eugene; brothers Chico, Carlos, Corey, Persian Street and step sister Thelma Mitchell and his God brother Robert Torres. He is also survived by his children, Ebony, Di'onna, Da'nazaa, Ni'onnie, Iy'onna, Nylah, Aubrey, Kadin, Jeremy, Nadir Jr., and soon to be Na'cir Street-Long and his grandson Nazier.
