Lenora Hawkins

Lenora Ann Hubbard was born on April 13, 1955 to Maggie Sylman Long and Charles Hubbard in Pittsburgh, PA both proceded her in death. On July 12, 2017 at UPMC EAST in Monroeville, PA, Lenora peacefully submitted her will to the Almighty God when He called her Home. Lenora was raised in Lawrenceville where she was baptized at Trinity Baptist Church and later joined Freedom Way Baptist Church located in Alexandria, VA until her health started to decline. Lenora meet Almond Lee Boozer and created a son, named Lee Erik Boozer their one only son. Lenora was educated in the Pittsburgh Public School System and later attended college at Georgetown University in Washington DC. Lenora worked for years at GSA (General Services Administration) as a Controller officer, Administrative Assistant, and work as a party planner located in Crystal CITY until her health started to decline. Lenora loved to read to children and was involved in several organizations such as Marching for Cancer, Pride, and Shriners. She also donated to the Fireman Foundation and Children's Hospital. She ushered and feed the homeless, just to name a few things. Lenora was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Maintaining family ties and going places with her family was her favorite pass time. She also enjoyed shopping for African Art. Lenora was a beautiful, loving, and giving person to her family and many friends. She has been called home to rest. Stress is no longer on her chest. She leaves behind 1 son, 6 grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother. and loving Friends.
