Kathleen E. (Hamm) Griffin

     Kathleen Elaine Griffin was an extraordinary woman. Born July 14, 1950 to Edmonia and the late George Hamm; she was the second oldest of 8 children: Georgetta Head (Charles), Patricia Ham (Dennis), Darlene  Williams (Darrell), George Hamm, Mona DeHonney, William Hamm and Ruth Hamm (who preceded her to glory).

     Kathleen graduated from Wilkinsburg Sr. High. She began her working career at Mellon Bank where she worked as a Research Analyst for more than 30 years.

     On September 26, 1975, Kathleen and Robert A. Griffin were united in marriage. Together they were blessed with Robert, Jr (Nicole), Tiffanee (Dwight), Jasmine, Travis and Tylaa. Kathleen was further blessed with 6 grandchildren: Cameron, Jeremiah, Jordan, Kaylynn, Kamyah and Taron.

     She was gifted at entertaining people. It was not unusual to visit her home, at any time of the day, and see it over-flowing with family and friends. She was a very giving person; always willing to help, no matter the situation. She will always be remembered as a loving and caring person. She loved life and enjoyed people.

     Kathleen said her greatest journey began the summer of 1974 when she made the most important decision of her life; to accept Jesus as her Lord & Savior.

     Kathleen also leaves behind 69 nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.
