Joyce Elaine Boulden

Joyce Elaine Hutchinson Boulden was born on September 11, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was the beloved daughter of Richard T. Hutchinson and Margaret (Carson) Hutchinson. She departed this life on November 14, 2017.

She graduated from South Hills High School and married Robert L. Boulden. Through this union they had three children, Eric, Leon and Charlotte. Joyce worked for Kay’s Men’s Clothing store for many years was well as other retail stores. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, and social media; however, most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Joyce was a devoted, caring and loving mother and grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Robert, 2 sons; Eric, Leon and daughter Charlotte, daughter-in-law, Velvet, 6 grandchildren; Precious, Davonta, Troy, Akyria, Brandy, and Carmeron; 2 great-grandchildren, Lundyn and Janiyah, and host of family and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Margaret (Carson) Hutchinson; brother, Richard Jr. (Richie aka Hutch); and sister, Charlotte.

She was always there when you needed someone to care or just lend an ear. Joyce would always give positive guidance and direction. She adored life and met each challenge with an open heart and open mind.

We may wonder why God took her home so soon, only she knew her moment and time to be at peace in the presence of God.
