Jocelyn P Taylor
August 17, 1940 ~ May 6, 2017 (age 76) 76 Years OldA time to be born (Ecclesiates 3:12) – On August 17, 1940 Jocelyn Prisscilla Davis Taylor was born to the late Walter F. Davis Jr., and the born to the late Emma M. Griggs Davis. Preceded in death her brothers Walter Davis III, Melvin Wilburn Sr, William Mack of Pgh, PA, Sisters – Jesslyn, Marion, Janice and Barbara Davis all of Pgh., Pa.
A time to be trained (Proverbs 22:6) – Jocelyn was educated in the Pittsburgh Public Schools where she obtained her diploma, at Schenley High School.
A time to Love (Genesis 2:18, 21-24) Jocelyn was united in marriage to the late Jack H. Taylor Jr. on June 28, 1969.
We all know how she loved to take control, in doing so on one of her Jobs she met Anthony (Tony) Winbush. She was the only one who could bring calmness to him. Jocelyn soon adopted Tony as her son because at the time she had no children. Later in her marriage she was blessed with Jack Taylor III. All through Jack's college years Jocelyn was there with her pomp poms cheering him on through it all.
A time for Peace (Jeremiah 1:5) – Early Saturday, morning May 6, 2017 Jocelyn transitioned back to her heavenly home.
A time to say good-bye (Ecclesiates 3:3) Now the season has changed and Jocelyn has left to mourn her absence on this earth Jack Taylor III (Tosha), Anthony Winbush Sr. (Michelle), grandchildren Toshay, Natisha, Karyn, Micheal, Alexis (Sparkle), Jeremiah and Keziah Winbush and six great grandchildren. Siblings James R. Davis, and Jacqueline P. Chapman, Detroit Mich. Sister-in-laws Lois Cole and Betty Davis. A Host of nieces and Nephews, relatives and friends.
