Gloria A. Santiago

Gloria Adlena Farmer, was the only daughter of the late Paul and Elsie Farmer. Gloria was born on August 7, 1936 in Pittsburgh PA.She peacefully departed this life on June 21, 2016.

Gloria grew up in Homewood on Apple Street. She attended Brushton Elementary School and graduated from Westinghouse High School. After high school, Gloria worked as a nurse's aide until she united in marriage with Antonio "Chico" Santiago. Gloria had 7 children: Ramona, Antonio Jr. (Deceased), Roberto, Vera (Deceased) MAria; Maurice and Marvin. Gloria had 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a host of beloved relatives and friends.

In addition to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she leaves to celebrate and cherish the memory of her life: Brother Paul Farmer Jr. Columbus OH, Sister Joyce Askew, Pittsburgh , PA a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition, Gloria was preceded in death by parents Elsie and Paul Farmer, Sister Yvonne Lash, and Brothers: Lawrence  and Clifford Farmer. Gloria was a good mother, wife and was known for good eating and good times at her house.

She enjoyed life to the fullest and enjoyed entertaining all the time. Gloria always made visitors welcome to her home and they always left always left feeling free to return. Nothing pleased her more than to be surrounded by family and friends all the way to the end.
