Fred Stewart
April 27, 1928 ~ May 14, 2016 (age 88) 88 Years OldElder Fred W.Stewart was born April 27, 1928 in Warren, Arkansas to the late John and Mildred Steward.
Fred was educated in the Warren School system. After the passing of his beloved mother, he went to live with his grandfather, Malachi Key and assisted him in farming their land.
Tragically after the death of his grandfather he and his siblings were separated and Fred was sent to live with other relatives.
Fred enlisted in the Armed Forces at the age of 16 and served his country for two years and was honorably discharged. Upon his departure from the Armed Forces he began his travels on the train to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Becoming overwhelmed by the hours of traveling Fred decided to make his home in Pittsburgh, PA. He remained at the YMCA in the Hill District Section of Pittsburgh until he met his wife, Rosetta Lesesne.
The two were united in marriage on February 29, 1952. To this union ten children, David W., Randolph F., Rhonda R., Staci L., Toni L., Michael B., Tammy M., Craig P., Scott J., Bradley W., were born.
Fred was employed by several construction companies. After more than twenty years of employment at the Crady Construction Company he retired to fulfill his dream of owning his own business. He was blessed to be the President/CEO of Stewart & Sons Construction Company.
In 1961, Fred was baptized in Jesus Name and received the precious gift of the Holy Ghost at the Bethlehem Temple Church, 404 Paulson Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA. He was ordained as an Elder and served as a member of the male chorus, a cook in the dining room of the church and was one of the "BTC Roll Specialist." After many years of dedicated service he began assisting the church members of United Apostolic Church preaching and Baptizing souls and they converted.
Elder Stewart moved to Townville, PA and began their ministry. He was the pastor of the newly founded church, Jesus Living Witness Temple of Meadville, PA.
On Saturday, May 14, 2016, Elder Fred W. Stewart departed this life for life eternal. He was preceded in death by his wife, Rosetta L. Stewart; children, Randolph F. and Staci L. Stewart.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, David W.Stewart, Rhonda R. (Ernest) pollard, Toni L. (Robert) Sales, Staff Sgt. Michael B. (Brandi) Stewart, Tammy M. Kabba, Sgt. Craig P. Stewart, Scott J. Stewart, Bradley W, (Trina) Stewart; sixteen grandchildren, host of great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
