Ethel (Conney) Perry was born, September 4, 1935.  She met the love ofo her life Howard (Skippy) Wesley Green at Fifth Avenue High School, Pittsburgh< PA, Hill District.  They married June 22, 1952 and to this union four children were born.

Ethel had numerous jobs.  She was employed at Jenny Lee Bakery, downtown Pittsburgh, School Crossing Guard in the Wilkinsburg School district, a cook at Wilkinsburg Jr. & Sr. High School and head cook at YWCA Homewood Branch where she retired in 2009.  She loved to cook, bake, read magazines, newspapers and do crossword puzzles.

Ethel loved watching the soap operas.  She enjoyed life to the fullest and was always kindhearted.  If you were sick, she would make soup or a dinner and take it to you.  She loved her family and friends.

Ethel joined the Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church in 2012.  She enjoyed the preached word, the choirs, mime and dance ministries, Sisthas Hangin Out and Operation Inasmuch.  She was very humble and quiet,  akind soul and very loving to all that knew her.

She departed this side to be with Jesus, January 3, 2018, she exited as a lady.  She will be greatly missed.

She leaves to mourn her daughters: Carolyn Ward (Merdith deceased), Sharon Williams (Keating) and Nicole R. Green, two brothers, Howard Perry and Carl Perry; sister, Margaret Perry, sisters-in-laws; Delores Perry and Christine Perry; brother-in-law, Wendell Jones, grandchildren: Tanika, Lakisha and Tashanna Ward-Green, Chanell Jackson (Larry), Ti-tia Binion, Howard Wesley Green III, great grandchildren: Courtney, Jae'mere, Lalla, Masyia, Skylar, Messiah, Mylah, Anthony and Tyler, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and loving friends.
