Essie Rene (Kyles) Copeland

Obituary

Essie Rene (Kyles) Copeland was born March 5, 1946  in Eufaula, Alabama to Lorene (Austin) Kyles and Waymon Kyles.  She married her "good man," Rev. Kenneth Lee Copeland in 1986.  This union created a merger of children; Marsha Collins, Shanita (Douglas) Coleman, Freddie (Kathy) Copeland, Shawna Copeland and Lonnie (Michael) Jackson.  She also would like to recognize her "special niece" Monique McClendon.  Two siblings have preceded her in death, Vickie Kyles and Sanford Kyles.  She would like to respectfully honor Uncle Roosevelt Kyles and Uncle Homer (Aunt Eddie) Kyles, two brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law.

Essie leaves to cherish her memories and quotes; children, nine grandchildren, siblings Waymon Jr.  (Rosie) Kyles, Samuel Kyles, Sandra Kyles, Starlin (Jackie) Kyles, Ervin Kyles, James Kyles, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Essie accepted Christ in 1985 at Monumental Baptist Church.  She married Kenneth Copeland the following year.  She loved and honored God serving in many ways.  Some areas of service include Sunday school teacher, Deaconess, hostess and loving her family.
