Edythe L. Patterson

Edythe L Patterson departed this life at the age of 83, on the morning of March 21,2018. Born on September 15, 1934 in Allenport, Pennsylvania a daughter  to the late John and Mildred Standard.

Edythe worked for F.W. Woolworth's for 29 years, was a former member of the West End A.M.E Zion Church for over twenty (20) years, where she became a Deaconess and an Usher. She was also a former member of the Sahara Court No.9 Daughter of Isis of Pittsburgh.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Earl Patterson of 50+ years, daughter Earlene Patterson, brothers Allen, Thomas and William Standard. Sisters Norma Saunders, Beatrice Mason, Mildred Johnson and Dorothy Claiborn.

She leaves behind to mourn her passing and cherish her memories her children Daryl Patterson (Stacy) and Dorothy Patterson. Grandchildren Tawna, Daryl Jr., Monica, Anthony (Hong) and Tara. 10 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
