Dolores Adrene Allen, lovingly known to many   as Mother, Grandma, Auntie, Cousin, Best Friend and Momma Dee, entered the world on September 24, 1932.  Dolores was the loving daughter of James “Sonny” and Lillie Mae Wilson, who are resting with God.

Dolores grew up on the Hill District of Pittsburgh, and graduated from the 5thAvenue  High School, where she married

the love of her life, Charles “Harry” Allen who is also resting with God.  Dolores attended the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy, where she received her cosmetology license, spreading her gift of beauty to all she touched.   In her early years, she enjoyed being a model for boutiques and magazines in the Pittsburgh area.   When it came to fashion she was a trendsetter and always 10 steps ahead.  She also had a passion for interior design, she’s known to have the most beautiful decorated home in the neighborhood.

Dolores loved to cook for her family.  She loved having her family around, always praying for them to be happy, and to live abundantly.  Dolores loved the horse races, and a fun game of poker where she always shared her winnings. Dolores had a generous spirit, she gave all that she had to whomeverneeded.  Dolores accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior and tithed faithfully.

Preceded in death her husband, Charles Harry Allen, loving brother Wilbert Wilson and sister Barbara Jean McAllister, also resting with God her two sons, Ricardo “Ricky” Allen, Sr., and

Charles Demetrius Allen.

Dolores leaves to cherish in her memory, daughters, Sandra Ellis-Smith, & Stacie Lynn Allen, son, Cheyenne “Rico” Allen, Sr., and loving sister Marie Riley.  She leaves to mourn a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Dolores Allen will truly be missed by all.
