Derrick Vire
November 16, 1964 ~ November 30, 2016 (age 52) 52 Years OldDerrick Dyral Vire, affectionately called “Big D” was born on November 16, 1964 to Barbara Vire and Norman Vire in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was educated in the Wilkinsburg School District. After graduating in 1983 Derrick moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he attended a culinary arts college and was employed at different restaurants specializing in that field. After he returned to Pittsburgh, Derrick was employed at the Fairmont Hotel in the hospitiality industry. He enjoyed his time entertaining, cooking, and listening to music. Hard working in every since of the word, strong, dependable, reliable, loving, kind and caring, the definition of a “Real Man”. Derrick was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. He was greatly loved by his family and friends. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sisters, Norma (Pumpkin) Vire and Celeste (NayNay) Vire; and brother, Norman (Storm) Vire. He was known as a great father to Dyonna (DD) Vire, Gianna (GG) Vire, Bryce (Mr.B) Vier, Teyonna (TT) VIre and Royce Vire. He was also a great husband and partner to Antonette Hall Vire. He was a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews. In this time he would want us to remember him for the good, the laughs, jokes and many loving memories he has lefy us.........
