Carol (Hixon) Gray

Carol Gray was born in a small town in Virginia in the month of May. Shortly after, the family migrated to Pittsburgh PA.

Carol attended the Pittsburgh Public School system, graduating from the Fifth Avenue High school.

For over 20 years, Carol was blessed to be employed as a window dresser for several department stores in downtown, Pittsburgh.

Carol dedicated her life to her children full time. If you knew Carol you would have loved her. She just BRIGHTENED up the room. Carol went out her way to help anyone and no one was every turned away.

In Carol spear time she loved to be with her children and family.  She was a dedicated mother and wife. The love that Carol had for her family will live forever.

She survived her two husbands Harry Washington and Leonard Gray.

Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl; three children, Phillis Robinson-Lee, Carol Ann Neal; and Mark Anthony Washington; brothers, James Johnson and Clarence Hunt.

Carol leaves to cherish fond and loving memories, Charles Robinson, Edward Robinson, Joseph Phillips, Darlene Washington, Keith Washington, Stephanie Dorman, Cynthia Washington and a host of grandchildren great grandchildren   host of relatives and friends.
