Obituary

On August 25, 2017, 1962 Rosalie Palmer and the late Joseph Rogers, welcomed baby girl, Anita Lin Griffin, into the world, at West Penn Hospital.  Anita excelled in her educational endeavors as a graduate student from the Pittsburgh School System.  While employed at Sunstream and Sons, as a Paralegal, Anite pursued and perfected her dreams as an interior designer.  Before being called to Heaven, Nita worked effortlessly on her business plan to pursue her dreams to become an entrepreneur in the fashion design industry.

Anita had a love for fashion and singing and was part of a singing group called The Unspeakables.  Anita showed her love towards others, particularly children, by donating to many causes, such as UNICEF, Anita shared her love and wisdom as a motivational speaker and counselor to those in need.  Her love for everyone, especially children, is why many who loved her called her, "Nita" or "Ne-Ne".  Always the life of the party, Nita could blend with any crowd, and is loved by all who knew her, young or old.

On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, Anita Lin Griffin departed this life.  Anita leaves behind children, Ebony, Tiffany, Torrell and Benjamin Jr.  She is also survived by grandchildren, Emir, Emmanuel, Chris, Danielle, Janelle and Jameelah; sisters Tina, Teri, Monica, Janette, Brenda.  Brothers, Maynard, Richard, Bishop Joseph, Anthony and Andrew and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
