Angela Macklin

Angela Macklin was born on July 22, 1955 to the late Barbara Macklin and Kenneth Macklin in Pittsbuirgh, PA.  She departed this life in glory on Sunday, February 19, 2017, after a prolonged time of illness.

Angela was graduate of Schenley High School and soon after started working at Little Darling Daycare School as an early education teacher.  Then she moved on to her career at the Housing Authority of Pittsburgh until she became ill.

Angela leaves to mourn her loss, her Son Landriff Macklin, Granddaughter Aniya Macklin, Father Kenneth Macklin, Brothers Martinell Macklin, O.J. Macklin, Kenney Macklin, Sister Sheryl Macklin,  Aunt Mary Clayton, Nephew Carnell Hughes, dear friend Jonette Diggs and a host of relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by Grandmother Dorothy Russell, Mother Barbara Macklin, Godmother Loretta Chapman, Brother Corey Macklin and Sister Leslie Macklin.

When I am gone, just release me, let me go so I can move into my afterglow.  You mustn't tie me down with your tears; let me be happy we had so many years.  I gave you my love; you can only guess how much you gave me in happiness.  I thank you for the love each have shown, but now it's time I traveled on alone.  So grieve for me awhile, if grieve you must, then let your grief be comforted with trust.  It's only for a while that we must part, so bless the memories within your heart.  And then, when you must come this way alone, I'll greet you with a smile and a "Welcome Home"
