Alex Williams, II
April 17, 1976 ~ January 5, 2017 (age 40) 40 Years OldAlex Williams II, age 40, affectionately known to his family as Nunu, departed this life on Thursday, January 5, 2017, after a brief and sudden illness.
He was the beloved son of Dehaviland (Dee Dee) Williams and the late Alex Williams of Pittsburgh.
Alex attended Woodland Hills High School, and worked for many years at the Alpern Rosenthal firm in downtown Pittsburgh.
Alex had an undeniable passion for music and he was a huge sports fan, and he was always excited about rooting for his favorite team the Pittsburgh Steelers with son, Alex III.
Those that knew Alex best will tell you that he was a loving father and an amazingly devoted son. His friends and family will also tell you that beneath what some thought of as a tough exterior lay a warm and loving heart. If he counted you as a friend, then you knew he would always have your back. And that’s why Alex will leave behind so many that loved and cherished him, from his large extended family to his many life-long friends.
Besides his father, Alex was also preceded in death by his older brother, Philip Dixon of Pittsburgh in 2014, three siblings that passed prior to his birth, his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his mother Dehaviland, one son, Alex Williams III, his friend of 18 years and the mother of his son Natalie Amato, a host of siblings and aunts, one uncle, Oscar Hudson, and a multitude of cousins, nephews and nieces and many other family members and friends.
