Adrienne WilliamsApril 28, 1946 ~ June 25, 2017 (age 71)
Adrienne, born on April 28, 1946, was the third child born to the union of Christopher Sproul Bey and Ruth Sproul. She was always loved and admired for her beautiful hazel eyes and cute smile. She and her family attended the Lincoln Avenue Church of God, where she was baptized and accepted the Lord. At an early age, she, and her sisters, Asia, and Jackie formed a vocal trio. Adrienne had a lovely voice, so beautiful in fact, she sometimes moved listeners to tears, with her vocal ability. The Sproul Trio as they were known were popular and often asked to perform at LACOG, and other local churches. They also sang on radio broadcasts, and were highlighted in local newspapers, including the New Pittsburgh Courier.
In 1964, she graduated from Penn Hills Senior High School and started her career as an Administrative Assistant. She was an industrious and hardworking employee with the State of PA, Bureau of Corrections, and retired in 2007 from the Andy Warhol Museum where she held the position of Executive Assistant.
Adrienne loved, art, music, dance, and was an avid book collector. She had a keen eye for design and home decor, and had a style uniquely her own. She dabbled briefly in modeling and was featured in Ebony Magazine.
Adrienne will always be known for her ability to make people laugh. Her comforting spirit, she was a friend to everyone and had a "big heart". She is survived by her siblings: Asia (Marc) Matthews, Jacqueline Bey, Christopher Sproul Bey, Diane (Charles) Powell, Kimberly Hickman, and was a beloved "Aunt TeeToo" to her nieces and nephews Sataria, Rasheed and Kasseem, Van, Amir Layla, Mia. She will be sorely missed.
